The 25-year-old is now due to undergo a medical in Andalucia, but the complex nature of negotiations mean the Europa League winners must also settle on a transfer fee with their fellow finalists, despite the player’s expiring contract status.
“Sevilla FC have reached an agreement with Ukraine international Yevhen Konoplyanka, pending the completion of a medical examination and a final agreement with Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk,” read a statement on Sevilla’s official website.
“Konoplyanka, 25, is one of the jewels of European football, as well as one of the most desirable players in the international transfer market, following his great season with Dnipro.
“He was their star and played in the Europa League final against Sevilla FC. Last season, he played 42 official games and scored eight goals.”
Just as Konoplyanka arrives in Andalusia, Colombian striker Carlos Bacca is on the verge of leaving the club to join AC Milan.

Milan are believed to have activated the €30 million release clause in Bacca's contract after missing out on his compatriot Jackson Martinez, who has moved from Porto to Atletico Madrid.
Bacca has spent two years with Sevilla, helping them win the Europa League twice and finish fifth in La Liga last season.
