Sevilla sign Ciro Immobile on loan from Borussia Dortmund

Borussia Dortmund have announced that Sevilla will take Ciro Immobile on loan until June 2016, pending a medical.

The clubs had been in negotiations for a loan with an option to buy, but the valuation of the forward, between €12m and €15m, has held up the deal.

This Bundesliga side released a statement on Sunday afternoon confirming there is an agreement with Sevilla to take Immobile on loan for one season.

Dortmund will receive around €3m for the season-long loan with an additional €10m to make the deal permanent at the end of the season.

The move brings an end to the Italian's disappointing spell in German football, for not at least, having scored just thee league goals for Dortmund since his €19m from Torino last summer.

The Italian international will now travel to Spain to have a medical before the deal is officially complete.
