Pepe confirms Real Madrid exit, says he has offers from England

Pepe has confirmed that he will leave Real Madrid in the summer and revealed that he has had offers from England.

Pepe signed for Real from Porto in the summer of 2007 and during his time with the club he has won both La Liga and the Champions League on three occasions as well two Copa del Reys, two Supercopa de Espanas, the UEFA Super Cup and the Club World Cup.
Speaking on Spanish radio station Cope Pepe said that one of the reasons to move on was because he was only offered a one-year contract.
"Real Madrid did not offer me a renewal of two seasons. I was only offered one year," the defender said."

"It is clear that I will not continue in Real Madrid. One stage is over and, from now on, another new one will start."
Pepe added that he had "not signed" with any clubs yet amidst speculation that he could move to one of PSG or Inter Milan.
When quizzed on potential moves to one of those two clubs he said "There are more proposals, also from England."

Having previously been first choice next to club captain Sergio Ramos he has found himself usurped by Raphael Varane.
Pepe refused to openly critiicse Zidane and the Real board but hinted that things didn't end exactly as he wanted.
"I don't want to blame anyone. What Zidane has done with Real Madrid is spectacular, but there are things I don't understand.
"I didn't say goodbye to Zidane because Zidane and Real Madrid knew I was going before I did."
