Real Madrid will have to sell Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema or Cristiano Ronaldo to fund any move for Monaco striker Kylian Mbappe, according to former Bernabeu forward Ronaldo.

Ballon d'Or and Best FIFA Men's Player holder Ronaldo has been linked with a return to Manchester United with Mbappe touted for a possible switch to the Berabeu after scoring 15 goals for Monaco in helping them win Ligue 1.
The 18-year-old forward is one of European football's hottest properties with Monaco apparently placing a £100m price tag on his head, but may only be signed if Madrid decide to break up the BBC of Bale, Benzema and Ronaldo.
According to former Inter and Madrid forward Ronaldo, such a prospect has already been discussed by Madrid president Florentino Perez and coach Zinedine Zidane, a former team-mate of Ronaldo's during the noughties.
With Ronaldo almost certain to remain in the Spanish capital despite the possibility of facing tax fraud charges, Madrid could instead look to sell Bale or Benzema.
"He (Mbappe) is ready for Real,’" said Ronaldo in Gazzetta dello Sport. "He’s very strong, very, very strong.
"That’s what Zizou and Florentino think, but only if one of the BBC three is going.
I'm almost certain that Cristiano Ronaldo will stay at Real Madrid. A player who scores 50 goals every year is too reliable to be let go.
"(The best players] are the ones who can decide (their futures), but I don't think there is another club able to treat him better than Real Madrid, although I don't know his reasons for feeling upset."

With Ronaldo unlikely to return to Manchester, there is a possibility that Bale may be on the market four years after joining Madrid from Tottenham in a then world record £79m transfer.
Perez has already admitted that Zidane is keen to bring Mbappe to the Bernabeu, but hinted he may have to wait a little longer to join the Champions League and La Liga winners.
"He is a very good player, it reminds me of last year of when they said that we would sign Pogba," Perez said of Mbappe.
"The summer is very long, Zidane has had a close relationship with him for several years.
But very few players play at Real Madrid at the age of 18. He should have patience, the coach has it in his mind. It's not worth saying if we are going to bring in players who could be on the bench.
