FFF president: Zinedine Zidane coaching France 'a logical continuation'

The president of the French Football Federation, Noel Le Graet has said that Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane taking over the French national team would be 'a logical continuation.'
Zidane has only been in charge of Madrid since January 2016 but he has already won the Champions League twice as well as La Liga once.
There has been no indication that Zidane is considering leaving Real but Le Graet said that the idea of him coaching France at some point in the future makes sense.
"That is a logical continuation," Le Graet told RMC.
"It is likely that one day he will be interested."
Le Graet added that he doesn't expect Zidane to leave soon and that he was surprised by how well the World Cup winning midfielder had done.
He also revealed that he spoke to Zidane when he was a coach and advised him to start with a smaller club.
"For the moment I think he still has a lot to give to Real and the club suits him perfectly.
"I can't believe what he is doing. I spoke to him two or three years ago, and at the time I was strongly advising him to go to Bordeaux or somewhere else, to start his career at a Ligue 1 club or somewhere more modest."
Euro 2016 runners-up France are currently managed by Didier Deschamps, whose job may be under pressure if the team struggle at next year's World Cup.
