Lyon goalkeeper Gregory Coupet is "92%" sure of staying at the six-time consecutive French champions according to the club chairman.
Coupet, 35, has remained non-committal over signing a new contract, hinting that he would like to sign a long-term deal at the club or try a new challenge as opposed to penning a one-year extension.
But Jean-Michel Aulas thinks that their most recent proposal should be to the France number one's liking and that he is almost certain to sign.
"Gregory is an indispensable member of the Lyon squad and I hope that he will be spearheading the team for the next three years," Aulas said. "There's a 92% chance that he will stay.
"Greg is away on holiday but I expect him to sign when he gets back as everything he has asked for we are prepared to give."
Lyon have already secured the long-term futures of midfielder Juninho and defender Anthony Reveillere, while they rejected a nine million euro bid for Eric Abidal from Barcelona.
Midfielder Tiago, however, could be on his way with Aulas admitting that he has "heard news of other clubs interested in him, and not only Juventus."
Defender Claudio Cacapa could also be on his way out, the player having asked for ten days to make a decision amidst interest from Olympiacos and Al Rayyan in Qatar.
