Darcheville confident

Bordeaux striker Jean-Claude Darcheville is confident his side's impressive run of form can carry them to a second consecutive Champions League finish.

Les Girondins appeared set to miss out on European spot after poor results at the start of the year, though they now sit second in the table.

"I recognize that we went through a difficult period three months ago" Darcheville declared.

"But no one of our adversaries have been able to take advantage, despite the opportunities they have had.

"I won't complain though, we have worked and are reaping the rewards. Right now, everything is in our own hands, that's the way I see it.

"We have earned three consecutive wins so we have to carry on like this. We can win away from home, we have the talent to do that.

Darcheville is currently top of his side's scoring charts, though is adamant he can reach double figures for the season.

"I have scored 7 goals, and I think I can reach the number of 10 in order to help the team," he added.
