Neymar accidentally hits young fan with ball, then puts a smile on his face

It's been an up and down month for Neymar.

While the 23-year-old ended the season on a high by winning the treble with Barcelona, he was subsequently called out by team-mate Xavi for "messing around" on the club's open top bus parade last week.

Added to that, Neymar's second-half cameo appearance in a friendly against Honduras drew criticism and boos from his own fans after he went down easily under several challenges, which saw an opposition player sent off.

Despite the criticism, Neymar showed his kind side after accidentally striking a kid with a football before the start of the Copa America - then inviting him onto the team bus where he was handed a signed ball as an apology gift.
