The French centre-forward has been heavily linked with a £20m move to Marseille over recent days, with the Ligue 1 club making the 30-year-old their “number one target” according to reports.
But Giroud is currently contracted to Arsenal until 2020 after signing a new deal in January of this year.
And Wenger has denied the transfer news, saying that Arsenal are very keen to keep their target-man.
"I have had no approach from Marseille and we want to keep Olivier Giroud at the club," said Wenger.
Doubts remain over the future of a number of Arsenal players, as well as the manager himself, but Wenger added that his future will not have a bearing on the make-up of the squad next season.
“I work until the last day of the season for the present and the future,” he said. "Transfer targets are the future of the club and therefore they are very important. What happens with me is a bit secondary, what is important is the future of the club."
