European Championship-winning coach Fernando Santos has committed his future to Portugal for another four years.
The 61-year-old led Portugal to glory at Euro 2016 earlier this month, masterminding knockout round defeats of Croatia, Poland and Wales before Eder's extra-time goal clinched a 1-0 win over hosts France in the final.
And a statement on the Portuguese Football Federation's official website has revealed that Santos has agreed to lead the Selecao towards the 2018 World Cup and then on to Euro 2020.
Santos replaced Paulo Bento early in Portugal's European qualifying campaign, which began with a 1-0 home defeat to Albania in September 2014.
The former Greece boss will meet the press in Queijas on Thursday to discuss his new deal.
