The mood is high around the club in the wake of the weekend's 4-1 Premier League victory over Manchester City - an emphatic win that perhaps could have been even bigger.
Liverpool's performance at the Etihad Stadium has earned praise from almost all corners, with former defender Jamie Carragher suggesting it was as good as any match they have played in the Premier League era.
And Aldridge has echoed those comments, lavishing praise on Klopp and his methods.
"It was fabulous, it really was and I thought Jurgen Klopp’s tactics were unbelievable," Aldridge wrote in his column for the Liverpool Echo.
"Klopp really looks to be an exceptional manager. It’s not his team but he’s got them playing in his way. He’s always there at the side of the pitch, I love his enthusiasm, it’s like he goes on the pitch with them – he’s like a twelfth man.
"They have all bought into his work ethic and into his tactics. They all know they’ve got to work their socks off because if they don’t they could find themselves out of the team. That’s how it was when I was playing at Liverpool. You were scared to get injured or lose form because you might not get back in the team.
"I’ve never seen Philippe Coutinho work so hard and Adam Lallana is like a different player. With Lallana now it’s just about adding more goals and assists to his all round play. Just a little bit more creativity and he’ll be back to that player we saw a couple of seasons ago."

The win at City follows on the heels of a similar result at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea, and Aldridge believes the next step for Klopp's side is to improve results at home - where Liverpool have yet to show they can consistently break down sides that set out with a more defensive mindset.
"The problem Liverpool have got now is to sort out their home form," Aldridge added
"We’ve played all the main teams away from home and we’ve accumulated a nice amount of points, probably more than I expected if I’m honest.
"If we can sort out our home form and get it better, we’ve got a massive, massive chance of getting into the top four.
"Teams come to Anfield and set up differently, they sit back and get men behind the ball. But Jurgen Klopp can find the solution and he’s got options now. He’a a very clever manager, Jurgen Klopp, and he will know what he’s got to do."
