Manchester United are expected to agree the signing of Paul Pogba for a world record fee in the next 48 hours, according to reports in Italy.
United are believed to have agreed personal terms with the Juventus star, who left the club as a 19-year-old for a small compensation fee when his contract expired in 2012.
Negotiations with Juventus over a transfer fee, and with Mino Raiola over his agent’s fee, have been holding things up while Pogba holidays in Miami.
But Sky Sport Italia is reporting on Wednesday night that talks are nearing a conclusion and that a deal could be reached by Friday.
They put the likely transfer fee at just over €110 million (£92m) plus bonuses, while Raiola is expected to earn in the region of €25m for his role in facilitating the transfer.
Pogba will earn around £250,000 per week if he does return to United, according to ESPN.
