Thierry Henry: I'd be lying if I said I didn't want Arsene Wenger's job at Arsenal

Thierry Henry has admitted that he still dreams of managing Arsenal, despite quitting his coaching role at the club.
Henry was reportedly asked by Arsenal to choose between his work with the Gunners' youth set-up and his TV punditry role with Sky.
He chose the latter, a job which pays him a reported £4 million a year, rather than a job on the training ground at London Colney.
As if that in itself were not justification enough, Henry spoke to The Sun this weekend to explain his decision and reassure fans that he still intends to be back in a coaching role at some point.
“I would be lying if I said it wasn’t a wish that I have because I love Arsenal," he said. “The game is my passion and always will be.
“I would like to manage but I am far from it. Although I am able to manage any team now I would still like to pass my Pro License that I’m working on to give me a better all-round knowledge. I am in the process of doing that.
“Before you can think of becoming a first-team coach you need to have experience. That is what I’m trying to get and to complete the necessary coaching hours that are needed.
“There is a massive difference between a wish and doing it. I felt I could add something to the kids and I could also gain valuable experience myself.
“If it’s not to be there, then so be it. I have to respect the situation and that is the way it is. I will continue to support the team and wish them all the best for this season.”
