Crystal Palace handed Watford their first home defeat of the season as a late Yohan Cabaye penalty gave the visitors a 1-0 victory.
Both sides had hit the woodwork early in the second half but a clumsy challenge from Allan Nyom on substitute Wilfried Zaha allowed Cabaye to take full advantage.
Brede Hangeland had gone close to giving Palace the lead in the first half, only to be denied by a point-blank Heurelho Gomes save.
Juarado then rattled the Palace bar with a free kick before Dwight Gayle saw his shot come back off the post.
The result means that Palace leapfrog Watford to eighth in the table on goal difference.

KEY MOMENTS

12’ – CHANCE HANGELAND: His header direct from the free kick is stopped by a point-blank reaction save from Gomes. Probably knew little about it.
46’ – JURADO HITS THE BAR: His curling free kick has Hennessey beaten but it clatters back off the bar.
59’ – GAYLE HITS THE POST: It’s a great Crossfield pass from Sako to find Gayle and he perhaps should find the net instead of the woodwork with his shot.
71’ – GOAL! Watford 0-1 Crystal Palace: Nyom fouls Zaha in the box and Cabaye steps up to give Palace a decisive advantage.

KEY STATS

Watford conceded their first goal at home this season
Palace have now won nine of their 12 away matches in the Premier League under manager Alan Pardew (L3).
No side has won more points than Crystal Palace away from home in the Premier League in 2015 (28, Arsenal also 28).

TALKING POINT

Watford concede for the first time. Impressive though their defence has been, aside from Jurado going close, they need to provide more of a threat in attack.

MAN OF THE MATCH

Brede Hangeland (Crystal Palace): A rock in the centre of defence. Put in several potential goal-saving challenges and was also unlucky not to be on the scoresheet.
