Werder Bremen have claimed they will sign winger Serge Gnabry from Arsenal – adding that contrary to suggestions, Bayern Munich will not be involved in the transfer.

Gnabry is poised to leave Arsenal after starring at the Olympics with Germany and his father had said Bayern would buy the 21-year-old before loaning him to Bremen.
But now Bremen appear confident they will land Gnabry on a permanent deal.
"Serge Gnabry would like to play for us," said sporting director Frank Baumann. "Talks with Arsenal are going well.
"We were interested in the player four years ago but unfortunately it didn't work out back then.
"If the Gnabry deal doesn't go through, which I don't expect to happen, we won't be doing any more business.
"[Per] Mertesacker told us a lot about Gnabry. He is a big fan of the player.
We have reached an agreement with Arsenal but nothing has been finalised as of yet.
As regards the possibility of Gnabry joining Bayern first, Baumann was dismissive.
“Bayern have no influence on a potential transfer,” he said.
Arsenal reportedly wanted to keep hold of Gnabry, who had a disappointing loan spell at West Brom last season, but he is out of contract next summer.
