The Manchester United boss voiced his support for Allardyce after the 61-year-old was dismissed just 67 days into his role as the country's national coach on Tuesday night.
He was secretly filmed by undercover reporters from the Daily Telegraph apparently discussing the possibility of earning extra cash and how to avoid adhering to Football Association rules on transfers.
The FA deemed his position to be untenable when the story was published.

"I know it was his dream job. I like him and respect him.
"What happened is not going to interfere in any way with my relationship with him. It is between him and the FA."
