Kane needs second ankle scan, says Pochettino

However, the ankle is currently too swollen to undergo another test - nearly a week after the striker was originally hurt.

“We don’t know when [Kane] will be back,” Pochettino said. “We need to assess every day. The ankle is still swollen so we need to wait. We will have another scan next week and then we can assess much better. We’ll know how long the recovery will be then.”

Kane is expected to be replaced in the Tottenham squad by Vincent Janssen.
