Sergio Aguero and Vincent Kompany start for Manchester City against Southampton

Sergio Aguero returns to the Manchester City starting line-up for the Premier League game against Southampton at the Etihad Stadium, while captain Vincent Kompany makes his first league start of the season.

Aguero was controversially left out of the City side that lost 4-0 to Barcelona, but is back to face a Southampton side that have conceded just twice in their last eight games.
Kompany comes into the centre of defence alongside John Stones and Aleksandar Kolarov, with Nicolas Otamendi missing out.
Sam McQueen makes his first league start for Southampton at left-back, with Ryan Bertrand and Matt Targett injured, while Shane Long misses out with a hamstring strain picked up in the Europa League on Thursday.
