More doubts were raised over Sergio Aguero's future after he was left on the bench by Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola for their match against Swansea.
Aguero is City's top scorer with 18 goals in 25 appearances this season, but did not start in Wednesday's 4-0 win at West Ham United and will again be forced to look on at Etihad Stadium.
Gabriel Jesus is retained up front by Guardiola while Willy Caballero also starts in goal with Claudio Bravo joining Aguero in the City technical area.
Aguero is apparently keen on a move out of the Etihad Stadium, and has been linked with a £75m move to Real Madrid this summer. .
Fernandinho and Gael Clichy are brought into the City starting line-up with Bacary Sagna and Nicolas Otamendi dropping out.
City will go third in the table above Liverpool and Arsenal with a win in Wales.
Swansea name an unchanged side from their 2-1 win over Southampton last week.
Paul Clement's side have won their past two matches including a 3-2 win at Liverpool a fortnight ago.
