Marouane Fellaini has been named as the Manchester United captain for the first time for Sunday’s game against Sunderland.
Jose Mourinho has named a strong line-up, but the armband duties have fallen to his Belgian powerhouse midfielder with a number of senior players missing.
There’s no place for goalkeeper David de Gea in the squad, with Sergio Romero starting, and under-pressure left-back Luke Shaw also starts.
Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and Michael Carrick all have to make do with a spot on the bench.
Visitors Sunderland have made just one change, bringing back centre-forward Victor Anichebe to partner Jermain Defoe in a two-pronged attack.
