Manchester United midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger impressed manager Jose Mourinho with his cameo against West Ham in the cup in midweek.
"Everybody was happy," Mourinho said of Schweini's appearance. "I was happy, everybody was happy because when he was not training with the team, he did it in a professional way. He is another one in the squad that is working to try to have more chances.
"When you have a contract with the club, you are the powerful one. You are the powerful one. You are the one that can decide your future.
"Okay, so in the summer we try to make something happen for Bastian to get a different future. He was the powerful one, he decided to stay even in difficult circumstances. He worked for that and he deserved that little happiness of the last match, so January again he will be the powerful one and probably with better feelings than before because now he is working with the team."
