Pep Guardiola has named a strong team for Manchester City's opening Premier League match against newly promoted Brighton & Hove Albion.
Playing in their new 3-5-2 formation that was used in pre-season City will have both Gabriel Jesus and Sergio Aguero in attack.
With pundits questioning who would be the main striker Guardiola has clearly decided to simplify things by playing both.
Fernandinho is the deepest midfielder with David Silva and Kevin De Bruyne ahead of him.
Kyle Walker and Danilo play as wing-backs with John Stones, Nicolas Otamendi and Vincent Kompany the three centre-backs ahead of Ederson.
Brighton hand a debut to new keeper Matt Ryan.
TEAMS:
Brighton: Ryan; Bruno, Dunk, Duffy, Suttner; Brown, Propper, Stephens, March; Gross; Hemed
Man City: Ederson, Walker, Kompany (c), Otamendi, Stones, Danilo, Fernandinho, De Bruyne, D Silva, G Jesus, Aguero
