Spurs were without their star striker in the midweek League Cup clash against West Ham - in which the East Londoners secured a surprise victory. Kane sustained the injury during the previous Premier League match against Liverpool, in which he scored twice.
The club tweeted on Friday: "[Kane] underwent assessment and investigation earlier this week, which confirmed a minor strain to the left hamstring."
Spurs face Manchester United at Old Trafford in Saturday's early fixture, with the home side bolstered by the return to fitness of defenders Eric Bailly and Phil Jones as well as Ander Herrera and Marcus Rashford recovering from minor injuries.
The two teams are currently level on points in second, though United edge above the North Londoners on goal difference.
