ABU DHABI, Dec 16 (Reuters) - European champions Real Madrid beat South American counterparts Gremio 1-0 on Saturday to win the Club World Cup final.

Forward Cristiano Ronaldo scored the goal in the 53rd minute with a free kick which went through the Gremio defensive wall.
