Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea has ‘total agreement’ over a move to Real Madrid this summer, according to a report in Spain.
Marca insist the Spanish international has asked the Old Trafford club to allow him to move to the Bernabeu at the end of the season, after his proposed 2015 moved collapsed at the eleventh hour due to a fax breakdown.
The report also states Jose Mourinho’s ‘continued interest’ in Madrid’s attacking duo Alvaro Morata and James Rodriguez is ‘key’ in negotiations being smooth for the transfer, with optimism on both sides that deals can be done with good relations between the clubs.
Marca go on to say the transfer fee for the 26-year-old could exceed €75m and that United have identified Joe Hart – currently on loan at Torino from Manchester City – as his replacement.
