"Ancelotti is and will continue to be our Coach," stated Vice-President Adriano Galliani on Wednesday.
"He has two years to run on his contract. I can say with certainty that, despite what some are saying, he'll remain as Milan boss."
SEMIOLI FOR ROMA?
On the pitch, Roma's apparent interest in Chievo star Franco Semioli has invited encouragement from the man himself:
"I couldn't turn them down" he said.
Juventus are reported to be furious with Mauro Camoranes i's latest disciplinary problems.
They're understood to have fined the midfielder £15,000, following the two match ban he received for elbowing an opponent in Saturday's 1-1 draw at Cagliari.
Cristiano Lucarelli has admitted Inter Milan might just lure him away from hometown club Livorno. He said his negative rection to previous overtures from Inter owner Massimo Moratticould always change:
"10 months ago my link to Livorno was untouchable. If I was asked today, perhaps I would accept his offer."
"Over the last two seasons I thought we could compete for a place in the UEFA Cup, but I've just picked up disappointments."
REAL PROBLEMS
Meanwhile Real Madrid's technical director, Benito Floro, has been telling Spanish radio his dream signing for 2006-7:
"I've recommended as priority signings a powerful central striker like Adriano."
His comments about the Inter forward come after less flattering ones about Real's Antonio Cassano.
All of which has fed rumours the young Italian star could be on his way home at the end of the season, with Inter and Juventus being touted as willing takers.
