AC Milan may send Mario Balotelli back to Liverpool at the end of the season due to a rift between him and Sinisa Mihajlovic, according to reports.
The Serbian coach was apparently unimpressed with Balo's performance during the recent game against Genoa. As the player failed to track back, Mihajlovic was seen screaming to him on the pitch: "Mario, damn it!"
The coach later blasted Balotelli in his post-game interview, although he didn't single the player out, claiming it was a problem with several elements in the team.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the player is now Mihajlovic's last option in the pecking order for the strikers - even behind Jeremy Menez, who is still very much out of condition.
In addition the club has decided to try and send Balotelli back to the club that loaned him to them, that being Liverpool.
The striker will therefore have to try and put in some good performances capable of convincing current Reds coach Jurgen Klopp of his potential use, or he risks another transfer market drama like the one last summer in which he struggled to find a team to pick him up.
