Reports in Italy suggest Arsenal have made contact with the entourage of Inter Coach Roberto Mancini.
The Nerazzurri boss won the Premier League with Manchester City in 2012, and has publicly stated that he misses working in England.
SportMediaset reports that with speculation rife that Arsene Wenger is not 100 percent certain to be on the bench at the Emirates Stadium next season, the Gunners are evaluating possible alternatives.
It’s thought that contact has been made with intermediaries for Mancini, to discuss a possible move.
While no official offer has been made, Mediaset further reports that Inter are drawing up contingency plans, with Frank de Boer and Diego Simeone their preferred candidates if Mancini leaves.
