Genoa beat Fiorentina in rearranged fixture

A single Darko Lazovic goal was the difference as Genoa beat Fiorentina in a rearranged match after the original fixture was abandoned.

Torrential rain had forced the players off the pitch in the 28th minute back in September, and that was the point at which the game resumed.

Lazovic scored his first goal of the season in the 37th minute to help his side to their seventh match unbeaten at home in Serie A.

Genoa move up into tenth place and now have 23 points - just three behind Fiorentina, who sit in seventh.
