It has been reported that ‘the new Zlatan Ibrahimovic’ has been recommended to Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain by the Swedish star himself.
17-year-old Alexander Isak has attracted interest from leading clubs around Europe for his performances for AIK this year, where he has scored seven goals in 20 competitive appearances.
According to Tuttosport, the youngster’s displays have even caught the eye of the man deemed to be his predecessor.
The Italian daily makes the point that while many young players are dubbed as potential stars of the future, few earn endorsements from the players whose footsteps they are deemed to be following.
Ibrahimovic is said to have watched Isak in action and been hugely impressed, so much so that he has now recommended the player to two of his former clubs.
Ibrahimovic, who has retired from international duty with Sweden, moved to Manchester United over the summer on a free transfer.
So far in 11 appearances for the English club he has scored six goals in 11 appearances.
