Inter Milan make £13.5m bid for Manchester United defender Matteo Darmian

Inter Milan have reportedly made their first offer for Matteo Darmian, giving Manchester United £0.9m for the loan and £12.6m option to buy.

The versatile full-back looks like he is heading back to Serie A in January after struggling for playing time under Jose Mourinho in the first half of the season.

Juventus are also interested in the former Torino man, so Inter are pushing forward to get a deal done as soon as possible.

According to newspaper Leggo, the offer on the table from the Nerazzurri is €1m to take Darmian on loan for the next six months.

There is also an option to buy for £11.7-£12.6m to be paid in June.

However, Manchester United seem to want £16.2m in order to release the Italy international.
