Serie A: Napoli grab 3-3 draw in Fiorentina thriller

Manolo Gabbiadini’s last-gasp penalty saw Napoli grab a 3-3 draw at Fiorentina at the end of a simply incredible match that contained goals of immense quality.

Elsewhere on an action-packed evening in Serie A, Roma had to fight back from a shock Chievo opener to win 3-1 and consolidate second place, with a Sephan El Shaarawy screamer the pick of the goals.
The goals kept on coming, and there was a seven-goal thriller in Sardinia, where Cagliari fought back from 3-1 down to beat 10-man Sassuolo 4-3.
Torino nabbed the points in a 1-0 victory over Genoa, strugglers Palermo and Pescara shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw in Sicily, and it was honours even in a goalless draw between Sampdoria and Udinese.
Serie A now takes a winter break until January 7, although AC Milan take on Juventus in the Italian Super Cup on Friday.
