Sevilla to renew Grzegorz Krychowiak's contract after Arsenal links

Sevilla hope to ward off interest in Grzegorz Krychowiak by offering the Poland international a substantial pay rise in a new contract.

It’s claimed by Sevilla ABC that sporting director Monchi will look to open discussions with the player’s representatives in the near future, following his successful first year at Nervion.
Krychowiak moved to a new representative agency in June and has been linked with a move to Arsenal this summer, with the Premier League club reportedly watching the midfielder in the UEFA Super Cup.
A departure isn’t expected, however, as the report reveals Krychowiak recently confirmed to the Sevilla hierarchy that he was happy with his current surroundings.
Nevertheless Sevilla still want to renew his contract to guard against any issues down the line.
