Southampton assistant coach Eric Black accused of advising businessmen over lower league bribery
Updated 30/09/2016 at 06:25 GMT
Eric Black is the latest member of the football community to be implicated in an expose by The Telegraph about bribery in the game.
The newspaper has filmed the Southampton's assistant coach allegedly "offering advice on giving bribes to officials at other clubs about signing players."
The Telegraph claim Black says "a couple of grand" would be enough to convince a club official to "pass on information about players to a company that wanted to represent footballers."
The publication goes on to allege an assistant manager of a Championship club is named as a person who "might be helpful."
Black has denied the claims and Southampton issued a statement on Thursday night, which committed to investigating the accusations.
