Tottenham scare opponents at White Hart Lane, says Dele Alli

Dele Alli believes Tottenham have been "unreal" at home this season and reckons visiting sides are now scared of playing at White Hart Lane.

England midfielder Alli hit a wonderful opening goal in Saturday's comfortable 4-0 win over Watford to give Spurs their sixth straight Premier League victory.
The victory keeps Spurs seven points behind leaders Chelsea and, with the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United still to visit, Alli is delighted with Tottenham's home comforts:
We were very clinical. When you've played like that it gives the team a huge boost. It was a fantastic performance from everyone, and I don't just mean the players on the pitch. The staff and the crowd were fantastic, they drove us on and gave us the confidence and belief that we could go on after the first goal and get more goals. Teams are going to be scared to come here, we've been unreal here.
Alli feels last season's ultimately failed title bid could help Mauricio Pochettino's side this time round as they look to haul in Chelsea.
"We're all enjoying what we're doing and that's important," he added.
"We've learned a lot from last season, we know we can't get drawn too much into things, we just have to keep doing what we're doing and make sure we win our games.
"That's all we can do. We have to do our jobs."
Watford were simply not at the races as their two-game winning streak was emphatically ended.
Walter Mazzarri's men have 37 points on the board and forward Stefano Okaka put the performance at Spurs down to fatigue more than failure.
"In this stadium, when you fall two goals behind it's always tough - after that, we tried to stand up to them but it's difficult," he told the Watford Observer.
"It's always difficult to come here, but we started okay and after that their quality came out, with our third game in a week, we were a little bit tired.
"They have a very good team. At the beginning, we were playing with a fast counter-attack but after the second goal we lost our concentration for a little bit and that's when the game was lost."
Watford can make amends when they welcome struggling Swansea to Vicarage Road next weekend, while Spurs play earlier than Chelsea once more as they face Bournemouth.
