Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes has received just a one-match ban for his sending off against Roma on Wednesday.

The 32-year-old was sent for an early bath after having been shown two yellow cards in United's 2-1 Champions League defeat to the Serie A side in Rome.
There has been some speculation that Scholes would receive a two-game suspension as he was already one yellow card away from a ban heading into the game.
His 26th minute tackle on Christian Wilhelmsson meant that he would miss the return leg in Manchester anyway, so when referee Herbert Fandel brandished a red just eight minutes later - for a trip on Francesco Totti just eight minutes later - there were worries in the United camp that he would miss a further game.
But those fears have been allayed after UEFA confirmed Scholes' red card superseded the yellow, meaning he will now miss just the return leg at Old Trafford next Tuesday - a direct one match punishment for getting sent off.
But the decision means that when he returns for the semi-final, should United triumph over Roma, Scholes will still be one game away from another ban, having collected two booking already in this year's competition.
The last time United reached the Champions League final, against Bayern Munich in 1999, Scholes was forced to sit out the match after having been suspended for collecting three bookings in the tournament. Unfortunately for Scholes, and United, a repeat of that situation is now very much a possibility, should the Reds progress that far.
