Viktoria Plzen unveil novelty beer can dugouts

Top-flight team Viktoria Plzen have commissioned the unusual dugouts at their home ground, the Doosan Arena, as part of a deal with the brewery firm Gambrinus.

"These are quite unique and I dare to say there is no other club with them," Plzen general manager Adolf Sadek said in quotes reported by the BBC.

Coaches and players sit in a hollowed-out section of the 'can', and from the perspective of supporters sat behind the dugouts they look like full cans tipped on their side.

The dugouts will be used for the first time in the league game against Dukla Prague on Saturday.
