90+3'

And that's full-time, not the result that France would have wanted but Belarus will be delighted. Next up for France is a game against Bulgaria at home, one that they simply have to win.

90'

it's a booking for Maevski as he brings down Dembele as the youngster looked to break away on the counter from a corner.

88'

Wonderful composure from Koscielny as he steps out of defence to snuff out some danger and get his team on the move.

83'

Final change made for France as Kevin Gameiro comes on to replace the disappointing Giroud. He nearly makes an immediate impact but can't get the necessary connection on a scissor kick.

82'

Dembele skips his way down the wing but when he comes onto his left the cross is weak. The ball ends up with Sidibe but once again his cross can't beat the first man.

81'

Belarus are bringing on Kornilenko to replace Signevich

79'

Sidibe gets clear down the right but he can't get his cross past the first man.

77'

Probably around 15 minutes left including stoppage time for France to find a winner, can they do it?

74'

Great chance for France as the ball comes in from the wide areas but once again they are denied by Gorbunov

73'

Dembele's exciting isn't he? Loses the ball but tracks back to win it and then goes on a lovely little run before offloading the ball.

69'

There's a change for Belarus as Sergey Krivets comes on for Stasevich.

Meanwhile for France Ousmane Dembele comes on for Sissoko.

68'

CHANCE!

Giroud and Sissoko link up well on the right with the latter sending a good ball in but Griezmann is denied again by Gorbunov

65'

It's a great ball in from Payet and Kurzawa gets the flick-on at the near post. The keeper does well to tip it over.

65'

Dangerous free-kick for France. Payet stands over it

62'

Another speculative effort from Varane as he finds space outside the box. Admittedly it's closer than the last one but it still seems a bit pointless

59'

Here's that outrageous Griezmann pass.

58'

CROSSBAR!

Payet's first involvement is to float a wonderful cross in from a corner but Giroud's header clips the bar and goes over.

58'

It's a great hit from the free-kick from Griezmann but it's far enough out that Gorbunov can tip it over.

57'

FIRST CHANGE OF THE NIGHT

And it's Dimitri Payet time as he comes on to replace the disappointing Martial.

56'

Sivakov goes in for a 50-50 with Koscielny but doesn't get too much of the ball. The fact that his studs are raised means he is shown the first yellow of the game.

53'

WONDERFUL CHANCE!

Griezmann dinks the ball away from two defenders and then produces a stunning backheel to play through Giroud but the Arsenal man drags his shot wide.

53'

Great ball in from Kalachev on his left foot from the right-hand side and he nearly finds Signevich but his cross is cut out by Varane.

50'

Belarus have come out fighting here. They're pushing forward and they clearly feel that France are here for the taking which, to be fair, they probably are.

48'

No changes for either side as Griezmann just can't quite reach a ball in from Pogba.

46'

We're back underway.

45'

That's half-time. Not a lot to shout about so far. France don't really look like breaking through. Is it time for Dimitri Payet?

44'

And there's a post-Zlatan goal for Sweden in this group as Marcus Berg gives them the lead against the Netherlands.

42'

Well that pretty much sums it up really. Varane strides forward totally unchallenged and then chooses to hit a shot straight at a defender rather than try a pass.

39'

Well that's outrageous. The first bit of real quality from the game as Giroud plucks the ball out of the air with a majestic touch. However the referee deems that he fouled his opponent in the process.

37'

There doesn't seem to be much thinking behind Belarus' play but the one obvious tactic is to try and hit Signevich. yet again he wins a header against the France centre-backs.

35'

Another chance for Giroud as he peels away from his man to get into the box and on the end of a ball over the top from the captain Varane. However it's all too slow and he ends up missing the ball.

33'

CHANCE!

Martial finds some space on the left after some nice link-up play with Griezmann and Pogba and he picks out Giroud. The Arsenal man's header is deflected behind for a corner which doesn't lead to anything.

31'

Well that was ambitious. Pogba was in a similar position to Griezmann at the free-kick as he cut inside onto his right foot and unleashed a shot. He must have seen the keeper off his line otherwise it's totally pointless taking the shot on.

29'

Griezmann has a free-kick on the left hand side of the area but it's easily dealt with by Sivakov

27'

Interesting and yet pointless stat here for you.

25'

25 minutes through the game and neither side has created too much, given the last chance for Signevich was offside.

23'

HUGE CHANCE!

Ball comes in from the right from Kalachev and really Signevich had to score with an open goal but he totally misses the ball. The flag is up for offside though.

20'

Elsewhere in this group Dimitar Rangelov has given Bulgaria the lead against Luxembourg.

18'

POGBA SHOT. First real sighter for the Manchester United man as he takes a shot first time from the edge of the area. It's straight at the goalkeeper though.

17'

CHANCE FOR GIROUD. The ball comes in from the right but Giroud can't quite get the header away.

16'

Belarus starting to come out of their shells a little bit, not as afraid as before to push men up in attack. Final ball is lacking though.

14'

And once again it's wasted as a foul is committed inside the box on Giroud

14'

Corner to Belarus after Koscielny is forced to head behind...

13'

Sissoko barges through the Belarus midfield and he find Martial, who jinks wonderfully into space but his shot is also dragged harmlessly wide.

12'

Belarus have a chance to put pressure on France from a free-kick, but they can't get it right and an offside is called.

10'

There already seems to be a clear pattern to this game. Most of the Belarus players are camped in their half. Do France have the patience to break them down?

8'

And it is the shot! It caught Gorbunov out a little but in the end it was going so slowly he had time to readjust and make a simple catch.

7'

Foul on Griezmann by Maevski, this is a decent position for either a shot or a cross

6'

We have the first shot of the game and it comes from Signevich. Unfortunately it's going slower than a snail and is way wide of Mandanda's goal.

4'

NERVOUS from Kurzawa at the back as his pass puts his keeper under a lot of pressure. Kudos to the new Crystal Palace man Steve Mandanda as he calmly shuffles past the striker.

3'

Early foul from Sissoko on Stasevich as he comes in late on his opponent.

2'

Cagey start to this game as we're informed by the commentary that every Belarus fan has been given a free t-shirt, which is lovely

19:46

We're underway thanks to Antoine Griezmann

19:40

The teams are on their way out now! Decent atmosphere in Minsk.

Time for the anthems

19:20

France have won the last two games between the two, with Belarus winning in 2010 and the two sides playing out a draw in 2011.

19:10

The other heavyweights of the group are the Netherlands, although they're undergoing something of a rebuilding process. They will face Sweden in their first game, who themselves are having to adjust to no longer having Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
