Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford is set to earn an England recall after being left out of the Under-21 squad for their matches with Kazakhstan and Bosnia & Herzegovina.
Rashford missed out on the senior squad for the 1-0 win in Slovakia last month and dropped down to the England Under-21 squad after playing at Euro 2016 this summer at the age of 18, breaking Wayne Rooney's record as England's youngest player at a European finals.
Rashford has since scored four goals in seven matches for Jose Mourinho's side as well as netting a hat-trick for the Under-21s.
With Sam Allardyce since departing his role as England manager, it is likely interim coach Gareth Southgate will hand Rashford a recall for forthcoming World Cup qualifying matches with Malta on October 8 and the trip to Slovenia on October 11.
