Four years on from a controversy which saw the threat of legal action against the British Olympic Association, Emily Sarsfield has her eyes on the Games again.

Lawyers for Sarsfield became involved when she was not selected by Team GB for the 2014 Winter Games in Sochi.

Sarsfield, who missed Vancouver 2010 with injury, had fallen just short of the qualifying standard but when the BOA was given an extra qualifying place, she was not given it. Sarsfield said she was "absolutely devastated".

A multiple national champion, Sarsfield struggled across 2016-17, failing to finish higher than 15th in any of her World Cup races.
