The Frenchman had a spell in hospital for treatment on his injured neck following the accident.
Dillmann was spun around at Turn 6 by Jon Lancaster, whose car had been flipped up by an apex kerb as he tried to abort a passing move.
Lancaster's Hilmer-run Dallara bounced off Dillmann's right-rear wheel and landed on top of the Frenchman's Russian Time car.
Lancaster's front wing struck the top of Dillmann's head, causing Dillmann to reach up and try to push it off as it was squashing him into his seat.
After a full check-up at hospital, Dillmann tweeted: "I definitely won't race tomorrow but my aim is to be ready [for] the tests. Lucky to escape that one with little injury."
Dillmann's non-finish, coupled with team-mate Sam Bird's stall at the start, was crucial in handing the lead of the teams' championship to Carlin.
Carlin takes an eight-point lead into the final round on Sunday, with its drivers Felipe Nasr and Jolyon Palmer both in the top seven starting spots on the grid. Bird will start 10th.
