July 5 (The Sports Xchange) - The Chicago Blackhawks announced Tuesday they have agreed to terms with forward Jordin Tootoo on a one-year contract.

Tootoo, 33, has played the past two seasons with the New Jersey Devils where he scored four goals and notched five assists in 66 games during the 2015-16 campaign.

Minnesota agreed to terms with restricted free-agent goaltender Darcy Kuemper on a one-year, $1.55 million contract.
Kuemper, 26, posted a 6-7-5 record, with a .915 save percentage and two shutouts in 21 games with Minnesota last season.

Colorado signed goaltender Calvin Pickard to a two-year contract through the 2017-18 season.
Pickard, 24, split this past season between the Avalanche and the club's American Hockey League affiliate in San Antonio.

The New York Islanders signed goaltender Jean-Francois Berube to a one-year deal.
Berube, 24, made his NHL debut with the Islanders last season, posting a 3-2-1 record with a 2.71 goals-against average and .914 save percentage in seven games.

St. Louis re-signed forward Magnus Paajarvi to a one-year, one-way contract worth $700,000.
Paajarvi, 25, posted nine points (three goals, six assists) in 48 regular-season games and one assist in three postseason games with the Blues last season.

The Philadelphia Flyers agreed to terms on a multiyear contract with free agent defenseman T.J. Brennan.
Brennan, 27, spent the past one-and-a-half seasons with the Toronto Maple Leafs American Hockey League affiliate, the Toronto Marlies.

The Calgary Flames signed forward Linden Vey to a one-year, two-way contract.
Vey, was originally drafted in the fourth round in the 2009 NHL Draft by Los Angeles.

The New York Rangers agreed to terms with defenseman Mat Bodie and forward Nicklas Jensen.
Bodie, 26, had 36 points (seven goals, 29 assists) last season for the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League. Jensen, 23, scored 37 points (19 goals, 18 assists) last season while splitting time between Hartford and the Utica Comets.
