Blues 4, Stars 3 (OT)
Right winger Vladimir Tarasenko scored his 10th goal of the season 3:24 into overtime to give St. Louis a 4-3 win over Dallas.
Jamie Oleksiak of Dallas scored his second goal of the game with just 50 seconds left in regulation to tie the game and send it to overtime. It was the second consecutive game the Blues allowed a tying goal after the opponent had pulled their goalie in favor of an extra attacker at the end of regulation.
David Perron had put the Blues ahead 3-2 on his seventh goal of the year at 13:12 of the third period off a pass from left winger Jaden Schwartz. The goal extended his point-scoring streak to eight consecutive games (three goals, eight assists).
The assist for Schwartz extended his points streak to seven games (five goals, four assists). Perron's streak is the longest active streak in the NHL.
The win was the fifth in a row at home for the Blues, who improved their home record for the season to 10-1-2, including an 8-0-2 mark in their last 10 games at Scottrade Center.
The Stars had rallied from a 2-0 deficit, tying the game 1:47 into the third period on a power-play goal by left winger Jamie Benn, his seventh of the season.

Islanders 2, Flames 1 (OT)
Thomas Hickey scored 1:53 into overtime as slumping New York at least momentarily righted themselves with their win over Calgary.
Moments after jumping on the ice during a shift change, Islanders center John Tavares grabbed the puck near the left faceoff circle and fired a backhanded shot at the net. Hickey, stationed with his back to goalie Brian Elliott, got a stick on the shot, which trickled under Elliott's legs.
Tavares scored in the first period for the Islanders (7-10-4), who won for just the third time in 10 games (3-4-3).
New York began Monday with the fewest points in the NHL but moved into a tie for 29th with the Arizona Coyotes by virtue of the win.
Islanders goalie Thomas Greiss had 25 saves.
Sean Monahan scored in the third for the Flames (10-13-2), who finished a six-game Eastern Conference road trip at 3-2-1.
