The World Champions set a new track record of 43.421 seconds on the way to claiming the 29th win of their career.
It was also their fourth victory of the 2017/2018 winter season, with their only defeat coming in the Sprint World Cup in Winterberg in which they finished second behind compatriots Tobias Wendl and Tobias Arlt.
The duo from Oberhof were fastest over both runs with their efforts both quicker than the previous track record of 43.564 seconds set back in November 2002 by Americans Mark Grimmette and Brian Martin.
Second place went to Austrian's Peter Penz and Georg Fischler who had initially lowered the previous track record to 43.466 seconds, and finished 0.143 seconds back overall.
Olympic champions Wendl and Arlt were third, 0.236 seconds off top spot.
That leaves Eggert and Benecken top of the standings on 485 points, 100 ahead of Wendl and Arlt with fellow Germans Robin Geueke and David Gamm, who were fifth in Calgary, on 291.
Benecken said: "The track record here had seemed almost untouchable. We never thought it could be beaten. So we're pretty proud right now!
"If our heads are in tune with our hearts on the big day, we are capable of achieving great things. As the current World Champions, we're always under pressure, but the pressure we put on ourselves is much tougher."
