Dakar 2016: Bikes - Toby Price continues winning form on stage six

It was the Hunter Valley rider's third success of this year's event.

Price completed back-to-back wins having claimed the fifth stage on Thursday.

Red Bull rider Price finished one minute and 12 seconds ahead of Honda's Paulo Goncalves, who could not reel his opponent's comeback after a powerful start to the stage.

Goncalves remains 35 seconds clear in the overall standings with Matthias Walkner third.

"Yeah I think it's gonna be pretty difficult the finish line of this one, the pace of the first week we had so far has being up there pretty high," said Price.

"Compared to what last year's Dakar was, the pace of that first week wasn't that strong but...yeah we are doing the best we can and for long as we are minimising mistakes we should be pretty good."
