Cardiff Blues marked Jonah Lomu's death with a one-minute applause ahead of their European Rugby Challenge Cup against Harlequins on Thursday evening.
Lomu, the great New Zealand winger who passed away on Wednesday, made 10 appearances for the Welsh club back in 2005.
But the Blues were unable to win in his honour as the visitors sealed a 32-20 victory in their Pool 3 clash.

Tim Visser, Oliver Lindsay-Hague, Charlie Walker and Danny Care all scored second-half tries for Harlequins with two conversions and two penalites from Ben Botica.
In Pool 4, Gloucester claimed a hard-fought victory at La Rochelle to maintain their winning start in Europe.
Steve McColl and Charlie Sharples both scored late on as the visitors snatched a 33-20 win in France.
A one minute-silence was staged ahead of the game in tribute to the 129 people who were killed in Friday's terror attacks in Paris.
