Former Wasps and Bedford forward Norman Hadley has died aged 51, Rugby Canada has said.
Hadley won 15 caps for Canada between 1987 and 1994 and played at the 1991 World Cup, helping his side achieve their best ever finish as they reached the quarter-finals.
On the back of his excellent performances during the tournament, Hadley was chosen to represent the Barbarians against Australia at Twickenham the following year and would make five appearances in total for the select team.
"Big Norm was a giant," said Al Charron, who played with Hadley at the 1991 World Cup.
"He was a mountain of a man that made me feel like an anthill when I stood beside him. He was a presence on and off the field.
"Norm was one of the funniest and smartest guys I have had the pleasure of playing rugby with."
