GB gold rush continues as Giles Scott wins in Finn class

Giles Scott claimed another gold medal for Great Britain in the Finn class at the Rio Olympics – although his medal will not officially be added to the overall table until the conclusion of the final race.

Scott has an unassailable lead in the event and will be confirmed as champion on Tuesday.

His triumph continues a remarkable Sunday for GB, adding to Max Whitlock’s double gold in the gymnastics and Justin Rose’s golf victory.

GB are now ahead of China in second spot in the medal table.
