Stefan Kraft made yet another trip to Oberstdorf worthwhile with his second ski jumping triumph of the season at the German venue.
The 23-year-old Austrian – who was victorious in the same village back on December 30, albeit on a different hill – won Saturday's World Cup event thanks to a 227.5-metre effort with his first jump, and 218.0m with his second to notch up a total of 439.9 points.
It was his sixth overall World Cup victory, and his third at Oberstdorf having also won there back in December 2014.
Home favourite Andreas Wellinger trailed him overall by 5.1 points, despite smashing the hill record (that had previously belonged to Kraft) with an opening jump of 234.5m.
Kamil Stoch of Poland meanwhile had leapt 225.5 and 217 metres for 425.4 pts in his two attempts to finish third overall.
Domen Prevc was fifth behind Daniel Andre Tande of Norway, meaning Stoch's overall standings lead over the Slovenian stretched to 135 points.
