Maren Lundby jumps to fourth World Cup gold of season

Maren Lundby soared to her fourth World Cup title of the season with the furthest jump of the day in Ljubno.

A second jump of 95m sealed the win for the Norwegian after her first effort of 92.5m, leaving her on a total of 256.7 points to finish ahead of Daniela Iraschko-Stolz.
The Austrian finished on 251.1 points following jumps of 90m and 94.5m, placing her ahead of Germany's Katharina Althaus who amassed 245.6 points.
She clinched the bronze medal just ahead of compatriot Carina Vogt who finished fourth, 0.6 points behind her international teammate.
Victory for Lundby sees her close the gap on Sara Takanashi (1195) and Yuki Ito (928) at the top of the overall World Cup standings, with Lundby sitting third on 889 points. The Japanese duo did not compete in the latest leg of the World Cup tour.
